Certifications
The HAP Training Center holds a dual licensing certification from the Department of Public Welfare and the Department of Aging for Adult Day Care.
These licenses must be renewed annually by a licensing inspection conducted by the state of Pennsylvania. Two separate inspections are completed one by the Department of Public Welfare and the other by the Department of Aging.
In addition to the above licenses the center has a state licensed R.N. who dispenses medications and two Red Cross trained and certified instructors who conduct annual First Aid and CPR training for all the staff.
All new employees when hired must have a Criminal History background check that is completed through the Pennsylvania State Police.
