Tiny Tot Child Development Center is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania to provide day care services in Rochester. With five classrooms, the Center serves children from 24 months through 5 years of age. The center is open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
The staff at Tiny Tot is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for the children in their care. They also focus on providing quality developmental activities for the children. Utilizing The Creative Curriculum, certified teachers plan, coordinate and carry out the educational program in each classroom.
Enrichment activities include field trips and programs presented by volunteers such as firemen, veterinarians, and musicians. A Fall Family Picnic, Winter Holiday, and graduation programs are traditional family events at Tiny Tot.
Parents are encouraged to participate in the center by attending parent meetings, helping on field trips, or volunteering in the classrooms. A monthly newsletter keeps parents informed of the Center events and classroom activities.
- Tuition for day care is based on the number of days that a child is enrolled per week multiplied by the established rates for full-day (5 or more hours) and part-day (less than 5 hours) service. Because of the developmental nature of the program, children must be enrolled for at least 2 half-days a week.
