HAP Residential Services
The Goal of HAP Enterprises community-based Residential Services is to provide a family style environment along with social and recreational opportunities in the community for individuals with developmental disabilities.
HAP Enterprises receives referrals on individuals with a primary diagnosis of Mental Retardation from the Beaver County Base Service Unit. When there is a vacancy in the residential program, the referrals are reviewed and house visits are set-up for those individuals that may seem appropriate for the house where there is a vacancy. Final decision is based on the visits and discussions with between HAP Enterprises and the Base Service Unit.
We strongly believe that continued family involvement provides a higher quality of life for the individuals and provides a better opportunity for a successful transition to the residential program.
Certifications
HAP Residential Services are licensed annually by the PA Department of Public Welfare. In addition all employees must undergo the Pennsylvania Act 33 (Child Abuse History) and Act 34 (Criminal History) clearances.
